FAQs
Youth Futures are a dedicated, multidisciplinary team who are committed to helping young people create a better future for themselves.
For over thirty years we have been empowering young West Australians to take control of their future by offering them the holistic support and opportunities they need to thrive. From humble beginnings as a crisis accommodation service in Perth’s northern suburbs, we have grown to provide a wide variety of programs across three core areas; Homelessness, Education, and Support & Wellbeing.
Our passionate team work to provide at-risk young people with a flexible and non-judgmental environment, always acknowledging that each person we help is an individual with their own story and needs.
Youth Futures Community School is a curriculum re-engagement school for young people aged 12-19 who are unable to attend mainstream school.
Unlike a mainstream school, Youth Futures Community Schools takes a maximum of students 100 students at a time. We have a high staff to student ratio which means each young person is offered individualised one-on-one support. As part of our holistic approach we believe it’s important to help young people succeed by assisting them to overcome factors that have impacted their learning and so have additional support on site in the form of an Aboriginal Engagement Officer, Youth Workers and Clinical Psychologists.
